Writing has been a constant throughout my life. I began writing in second grade and was invited at a young age to read one of my poems at a writing event. This experience showed me the power of words to connect people and tell meaningful stories.

I am from Cerrillos, New Mexico, where I was born and raised in the mountains. Growing up in a quiet place, surrounded by wide landscapes and long stretches of imagination, I learned to create my own stories and find inspiration. Reading became a natural extension of that curiosity, and the many books I have explored over the years continue to shape my perspective, voice, and approach to writing.

Today, writing is both an academic and creative practice for me. In addition to my coursework, I write for my podcast, where I blend storytelling, research, and personal insight to explore topics that matter. When I’m not writing, I spend time with my eight dogs, whose personalities remind me daily that every voice has a story worth telling.

My work reflects a commitment to clear communication, thoughtful exploration, and continuous growth as a writer. Through each piece, my goal is to create writing that is genuine, engaging, and meaningful to readers.

Au revoir!
